A school built around the whole child.

Mini Me began with the deeply personal journey of two parents and their first child, who was born in the United States.

At the age of two, he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This marked the beginning of the family’s journey through assessment and early intervention in the United States, as well as a deeper understanding of his individual ways of communicating, learning and experiencing the world.

English was his primary language—the language through which he could express himself most naturally and connect with the world around him. After the family returned to Madinah, they began searching for a nursery that offered an English-speaking learning environment, recognised his individual abilities and needs, and provided a safe, stimulating space where he could develop independence and confidence.

At the time, they could not find one setting that brought all of these qualities together. His learning journey therefore began at home, through a personalised educational experience shaped around his needs, strengths and interests, while respecting his individual pace of development.

It was within that home that the idea of Mini Me was born. What began as a genuine family and educational need grew into a wider vision: to create an English-speaking learning environment founded on the belief that every child has a unique personality, individual abilities and their own path—and that meaningful education begins by understanding the child before asking the child to learn.

In 2022, that vision became Mini Me: a learning environment rooted in Montessori philosophy, where independence, discovery, confidence and a lifelong love of learning are nurtured through a genuine partnership with families—giving every child the space and support to grow into the very best version of themselves.
